Product41 owner Ronnie Swyers was inspired at a young age by his late "Uncle Bill," an admired Northwest Porsche racer who primarily carried the #41 on his race cars. At the age of 17 and a junior year in high school, he began building his first car in auto shop class. Ronnie began auto racing the following year in the most hyper competitive class in the northwest, earning numerous championships in SCCA & ICSCC regional and national divisions, driving low-horsepower Front Wheel Drive and higher horsepower Showroom Stock GT cars. He started karting at the age of 29, about 20 years after most racers, earning 2 SKUSA Regional Tour Championships in the highly competitive 125cc Shifterkart S2 class in 3 years.

In 2016, a few years after his uncle's passing, Product41 was started. "My primary reason for starting this company was to give the track day enthusiast and new racers getting into the sport a good resource for products and knowledge. The number of customers with my personal cell phone number is staggering," said Ronnie. "I pride myself and Product41 on customer service, that is truly the heart of it."

Product41 doesn't just cater to the sports car drivers, but sprint karts and dirt oval speedway. In 2017 Product41 launched the Product41 Arrive-and-Drive speedway karting program at the Salem Speedway in Salem Oregon. Here, they run the hyper-competitive Briggs and Stratton LO206 classes. "Our core group of drivers comes from the sprint side of karting and the sports car road racers. We offer them a complete turnkey program where they show up, race, and go home. We try to run our program just as any professional motorsports team would be run, it's a pretty big operation for karting," said Swyers.

With years of racing and coaching experience, in 2011, Ronnie earned his way into the core group of instructors you will find at the Ford Performance Racing School located at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC,. and Tooele, UT. Ronnie has been racing, teaching, coaching, and improving drivers’ abilities for nearly 35 years.

If you live in Oregon or Washington and visit the tracks often, you will probably find him among the group of racers enjoying the track life. Portland International Raceway and Oregon Raceway Park are what he considers his "home tracks".
