AiM Accelerator (TPS) / Brake Pedal Position Sensor The accelerator/brake pedal position sensors represent a key support for kart drivers. They provide a precise indication of timing and intensity of braking / acceleration. Utilizing this data helps to understand if the driver has accelerated or braked at the right moment and with the correct strength. A very important fact to evaluate driver behavior and improve their performance.Data can be received by a MyChron5S or MyChron6 connected to MyChron Expansion and analyzed on your PC. Made in anodized aluminum, these sensors are very robust. They are water-resistant, too. Even calibration is immediate. Once installed, connect the sensors to MyChron Expansion and get pedal positions (in high position and zero position): after that the sensor will start getting acceleration/braking data. AiM IR Optic Lap Receiver Eye Used today primarily for indoor kart racing applications where GPS is not accessible, the MyChron Optic Lap Receiver is used with the MyChron Optic Lap Transmitter for fast, reliable lap time sampling right to your dash. This unit is the same receiver included with older MyChron Kart Dash Kits but can be used with newer MyChron5 and MyChron6 (with adapter cable). The 4-pin 712 (screw-in) connector works with all AiM / MyChron kart dashes from the MyChron3 through to the MyChron5, and now even the MyChron6. The short 1.4 meter cord is long enough for easy positioning anywhere on a kart. With the accuracy of GPS in the new MyChron5's and MyChron6 outdoors, this is typically used in for indoor applications where GPS is not received. A trackside beacon transmitter will be required.
